Experience culture. It’s simple and it’s free.

The Cultural Umbrella is one of the Cultural Stadium’s initiatives. The Cultural Umbrella will introduce Chicago resident, kids 13 years of age and under, and their parents or guardians to some of the city’s cultural treasures - from the performing arts to museums to other cultural attractions.

Introducing a Summer Pilot Program that will allow you and your family to test the power of the Cultural Umbrella. We want you and your family to experience and be welcomed to a select group of cultural institutions participating in this program.

Early exposure to culture sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and creates shared experiences that strengthen family bonds. What begins as discovery becomes a source of pride, belonging, and a lifelong connection to Chicago’s cultural life.

Requests will be fulfilled based on availability on a first come, first served basis.

Use parental discretion when choosing experience, one experience per family.
